The Antique Boat Museum
Skiff Livery
Clayton, New York
The Antique Boat Museum celebrated the first exhibition in the Dr.
Fred Thomas St. Lawrence Skiff Livery Building in July 1999. The design
meshed two existing storage buildings with a unified roof, porch structure
and entrance totaling 8,650 square feet.
In addition to being practical, the porch is an important design element
used to unite the varied structures on the campus. The renovation utilizes
a lantern, and a number of dormers for day lighting and ventilation.
