Ponemah Island, New York

 

The 6000 Square Foot house was designed as a legacy for an owner who had often summered on a nearby island and wanted to establish a similar summer tradition for his expanding family.  The scale & presence of the home fit well with Sunday night dinners for 40, a regular occurrence in July and August.
